CATHOLIC RADIO

In August 2009 Divine Providence unexpectedly presented Divine Mercy Network a last-minute opportunity to save Michigan's first full-time (and Detroit's only) 24-hour Catholic radio station - but only for a time. In August 2010 we had to cease programming WCAR because of financial difficulty.

Since then my wife Marie and I (and our children) have shared in the profound sadness that many of you express at the loss of the devotional and instructional programming we offered on Mercy Radio.

Although we had to say goodbye to Catholic radio on 1090, it's important to point out that each of you that helped Divine Mercy Network were responsible for keeping Catholic programming on WCAR 1090 AM for almost a year longer than would have otherwise been possible.
